1. You didn’t prime the pad.
2. Used way too much polish.
3. Not supposed to spread the polish around, this is not a D/A. Pick up the bead of polish with the rotary.
Not when you are using the 3M treatment which is Extra-Cut Compound #06060 with the #05737 White pad, then Machine Polish #06064 with the #05738 Black pad and finally #06068 Ultrafina Swirl Eliminator with the #05733 blue pad he’s using all at the recommended RPM.
I have done this twice and the swirl marks are remove from the clear coat NOT Hidden. The key of keeping the paint swirl mark-free is to wash, detail and dry with foam pads not microfiber rags.
Good Vid, the bootlid looked good, oh and pihlau, if you knew anything about polishing then you’d know that people only generally do that to drive out in the sun… so why would you want swirl marks everywhere?

Who has experience on polishing new paint ( 1 day painted)? I have some problems removing the swirls. How know how to remove them?

sorry…..but if you know anything about polishing, then you should know, that polish swirls come out, and are seeable, only in sunlight….:)
