I’m new to this, but I think I prefer this method to washing, . . . . . and waiting for it to dry thoroughly. I’m all about the quick. Seems more logical to use the tape than to wash the roller ad wait til it dries. I think even the washing and drying will release some of the fibres once it dries, though they will still be ‘hanging’ there

i prefer European rollers shorter cut ones u get smooth surface or rough with those rollers u gotta know how to use them though

ur right, but this is a fast way to remove any dirt or loose fibres from your roller when it’s clean and after its been sitting for days at a time.

load of shit. wash the roller in warm water and spin it out. any purdy or proline or acorn or hamilton roller package will tell you this. gets rid of hairs. same as the brush. when new wash them in warm soapy water then spin out, then the paint loads easier on the roller.
