a pro painter using a sash will outperform a pro using a flat all the time in terms of quality a flat brush u have to adjust to mimic what a sash already does sash saves time on cutting corners especially

nylox is a terrible terrible brush those purdy brushes were good in 1930 the paint today is much much different sorry why do u think all the pro companies are making brushes that use filaments which are a lil stiffer painters today dont use huge 3 1/2 brushes with full soft nylon for latex anymore if u do your not educated

using a sash to cut walls or casings in is for beginners…3″-3 1/2″ nylox for the pros
