It’s a wheel arch, NOT a fender well!

is it just me or is this guy really struggling to catch his breath?

  3. marshall0792 Says:

i like how he shows us on a fully clean wheel, should of started with a wheel covered with mud and brake dust.

and who needs degreassers, all you need is a sponge and soapy water and elbow grease

  4. scientificgenius1is Says:

Spraying ACIS WHEEL CLEANER THROUGH THE SPOKES OF THE ALLOY CONTAMINATES THE ABS SENSORS.
Use a non acid based cleaner unless your wheels are totally trashed.

  5. tuffy2342 Says:

I would never use that on my wheels. If you use it they will look like crap in record time. The clear coat will be ruined and you will need to have the wheels refinished. All you need to clean them is regular car wash soap. And keep them polished with car wax.

his ass is cleaner i think

I like the cone brush. I would cut the handle off and attach it to a drill. Make it go faster…

    lol terrible video…
1, If a wheel cleaner is going to hurt ur hands, whats it gunna do to the wheel?!
    2. at the beggining he says he “like to spend some time on the wheels” then rushes through the job really quickly
3, after saying he uses different sponges etc for the wheels “to protect the paint from scratches” he leans his hand that he has been using to clean the inner arches against the paintwork!!
If i could rate 0 stars i would!

  11. itptires Says:

the only thing he dont have down is that some of the acid wheels cleaners (like the stuff i have) is ONLY for chrome because it will de paint regular wheels paint or polished alum. so thats my word of advice
    andn

Okay, but not as harsh as a pure acid based formula, which will corrode/crack the wheel in the long run. It most certainly will strip the clearcoat in no time if used every time you wash you car.

Well, if you rinse off the dirt and grit from your wash mitt..then what’s the use of having a bucket if the wheel and tires are already wet and have the cleaner on them?

Great idea, totally. Hey we agree! Awesome.

A brush is a good idea, just doesn’t usually stand up for what I need most of the time

  13. megafast13 Says:

Basically all heavy cleaners contain some type of acidic formula. This is not recommend for uncoated wheels, but they won’t strip the clearcoat off.

What is wrong with using a bucket for wheels and tires? Of course you rinse/wash your mitt/sponge after each use.

It is a good idea to use a seperate sponge for wheels and tires.

I personally use a brush for wheel wells and tires, then a soft microfiber type brush.

  14. taylor22222222 Says:

Yeah…should take about 10 minutes. That’s normal for quality work. This one was actually done pretty quickly, I’ll bet you there are many spots he missed on the wheel and especially the wheel well when it dries.

  15. taylor22222222 Says:

He used an “Acid-Based” formula for the wheels which will really damage it in the long run, not to mention strip off the clearcoat if there is one, most cars do now.

You should never use a bucket for the wheels/tires either I rinse the sponges and mitts after each use.

I always use a separate microfiber sponge for the wheel wells and tires and a microfiber mitt for the wheels, not an old-fashioned sponge.

I go the extra mile so that way the customer’s cars wont deteriorate so rapidly.

This guy is really destroying this BMW. Check out his other vid of cleaning bugs from the front. I bet this guy caused over 1k in damages. Now the car needs paint correction. Don’t use acid on wheels. Don’t use simple green on the paint. P21S gel wheel cleaner is a great pH neutral wheel cleaner. Look at him put his gritty glove on the top of the car… ouch.

  22. hspnc777 Says:

very true, not to mention using a paint brush on the rim is not a good idea.
