Only use sand paper of 2000 grit or more. Anything more coarse is a chain saw to your paint job.

Well, it depends on the paintbooth, and the painter. Takes a lot of precaution to not get dirt in the clear coat. Thats why theirs a technique sand and buff to take the nibs out…
